My first editorial cartoon “What Snow” was published in 1993. My Editorial Cartoons, based on the NEWS of the day, were sent to several Canadian national newspapers until 2006.
"What snow"? - Editorial Cartoon
Bob Harriman is a Canadian artist, published editorial cartoonist and author, inventor, Shriner, Past District Governor of Rotary International, a former mayor and successful businessman. He is also a veteran (Korean War) and proud recipient of the Canadian Peacekeepers Medal. Bob’s Lest “they” forget painting, in Gallery #2 on his art website bobh4art.com, was added to the Canadian War Museum’s Art Collection in 2014.
The month of November painting in his annual Art Calendar (gifts to collectors of his art) is always dedicated in memory of Canada’s military men and women.
Teaching art and cartooning, as a volunteer, to kids in After - school, K – 4 Breakfast, and in an Airdrie Public Library program, have been some of Bob’s most enjoyable art related experiences…to date.
